My previous career was working in the oil and gas industry. My workday consisted of 12-16 hours of hard manual labor. I was absent for many “firsts” with our son. First steps, his first Christmas, birthday parties. Sound familiar? Upon the realization that no career or amount of money is worth missing the invaluable time with my family, I left the oil and gas industry and made my way here. 

I quickly discovered that this career was going to challenge and make me grow professionally and personally in unexpected ways. I found myself wanting to put in the extra effort. My success was up to me. The amount of time and effort that I was willing to dedicate correlated directly to my personal and financial success. At the same time, I was finally able to be present for my family. The extra effort I put in now is well worth the investment because I am finally living the lifestyle that I have always dreamed of attaining.
