Prior to working with Family Heritage, I was a hairdresser for several years. I loved working with my clients one-on-one and helping them walk out more confidently than when they walked in. But something was missing. The passion left me, and I just didn’t feel like I was making the impact that I wanted to. Towards the end of my career as a hairdresser, my grandpa was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. Not only were we worried about his survival, but also the financial impact that comes along with anything health-wise.
During this period, I was presented with Family Heritage. I knew in my heart what this coverage could have done for my family, especially when I quit my job to help take care of him. I took a leap of faith and started my journey with Family Heritage. I could see the impact this coverage had on people, and I felt it was a massive opportunity to show others that it is available to them, also.
Our human instinct is not to assume we will end up in a major accident or have cancer one day. Our brains teach us to think we are invincible; but the reality is, we aren’t... and none of these circumstances play favorites.
To fully love a job as much as this one is a blessing. I am so grateful to be able to be a part of a company that I can fully stand behind. My goal used to be getting this product out to everyone I meet so that they can make the same leap I did to protect themselves and their loved ones; now I get to teach others why that is so important.
