My Story: Prior to being a licensed agent, I worked in the human service industry as an optician, and as a direct support professional for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I knew I wanted a career serving my community, but had yet to find a path that allowed me to grow and fulfill the role I was looking for in my life.
My goal has always been to run my own business. My parents ran their construction business from our household throughout my childhood, so from a young age I have wanted to follow in their footsteps. I needed to have the ability to help people within my profession, so when the opportunity arose to not only own my own business, but serve my community at the same time, I fully committed myself to joining the Arndt Agency.
I learned quickly that this career has all the elements I have been searching for. I have the ability to protect my community financially from the things we can’t protect ourselves against, and prevent people from going through the financial devastation that my family and friends have gone through. Not only do I love what we do, and the protection we provide people, but the culture within our business is second to none. It's not everyday that you find a career that you enjoy, as well as work alongside people that you truly enjoy doing business with.
This career path provides flexibility, unlimited growth, travel opportunities, a healthy work environment, and much more. I love the fact that I am the owner of my own success. My growth is not determined by someone else, I define my future. I do not accept anything less of myself than optimal performance every day, and it feels so good to reap the rewards of my hard work, and see how that hard work leaves a massive impact on mine and my clients' lives.
“There was so much I was craving in my professional life that wasn't being fulfilled. I feel like I am finally thriving in my career working with the Arndt Agency. My skills are being utilized to their full potential, I work for myself, my family, my future, and most importantly my community. I am grateful for the relationships I have made with my coworkers, and am excited to cross paths with my future business partners in the Bakken wanting to serve and protect their community alongside me.”
