One of the main reasons we love this career is that we have a young family, and having the flexibility to run hard for work and slow down when needed is huge. Where else can you have that much flexibility while bringing home amazing income? I know that Nick and I are the drivers of our success. The harder we work, the more our family and community benefit. Nick quickly joined me to create a husband/wife team after 2 months of me working the business on my own. This truly shows our local business owners that while Family Heritage is a large player in the supplemental insurance market, they strive to keep the family ties/support at the heart of the business.
We also love the culture. When you pour into your business, the Arndt Agency pours right back into It. Amanda & Kyle are constantly seeking ways to be supportive and help you grow. The training and leadership experience here is second to none. Family Heritage has done a fantastic job of providing us as agents with tools to be successful in the field.
Andrea’s "Why": I spent about 9 months searching for my next career. I had four buckets that needed to be filled with whatever that job looked like. It had to be a challenge to me as that is where I personally grow, it had to serve my community, had to be good for my family, and good for me. Being an agent with the Arndt Agency fills all four buckets!
Prior to being a licensed agent, I spent a year as a branch manager/ag loan officer with a large credit union in ND. I also spent 7 years as an Integrated Solutions Consultant/Manager with Brandt Holdings. On a daily basis I was problem solving and bringing innovative technologies to farmsteads to make them more profitable. Nick is still a full time design engineer with Caterpillar Inc.
Our family enjoys anything outdoors; hiking, fishing, horseback riding, camping, skiing!
